The project was phased over two years and designed to provide new build accommodation to the existing secondary school as well as major refurbishment and remodelling of areas of the existing 1950’s building.
The school remained fully operational throughout the works and phasing/sequencing and segregation of the works was of the utmost importance. Our site team was in constant liaison with the school representatives to ensure the works were carried out with a minimum of disruption. We received positive comments in both the Considerate Constructor Scheme Monitor visits and Ofsted report.
The whole project was completed within budget and planned programme period of 24 months.
The scheme gained an enviable 36 score and a awarded a bronze award with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
