Works have just completed on The Manor House Care Home in Whickham, Newcastle. The original home was completed in 2010 and some 13 years later Walter Thompson Contractors have completed a full refurbishment project to give the home a new lease of life.

The project started in December 2022 and comprised of a complete internal refurbishment including new ironmongery throughout. The second floor bedrooms have all been completely refitted with the communial areas also being refurbished to brighten up the rooms for the residents.

Due to the care home being an existing home, the project was meticulously scheduled to cause the least disruption to residents and the staff. With works recently completing, the residents are now enjoying their newly refurbished home.
