Walter Thompson are delighted to unveil the successful completion of the Waterside project – a remarkable development originally envisioned in partnership with Angela Swift Developments and now expertly operated by Lovett Care.

Like its’s name would suggest, Waterside sits tucked away on the shores of Mill Dam Fishing Lake, in the quiet village of Eccleston located in St Helens, it truly is the perfect blend between rural and suburban living. This 99-week project was built on the site of an old fire station, revitalising and repurposing the abandoned land, transforming it into the stunning build we see today.

Waterside spans three storeys and offers a variety of fantastic spaces, including external terraces that overlook the lake, dining rooms, multiple lounges, a hair salon, library, café, sensory room, and beautifully designed ensuite bedrooms. The outdoor areas are just as impressive, with landscaped gardens and large, paved areas featuring seating underneath a sun sail, and even a greenhouse which residents can enjoy.

The project also features a carefully crafted roof design, combining both traditional and modern elements. The roof’s complex structure uses traditional masonry as well as Cedral cladding which accentuates the building’s lines and provides a fresh and sleek contemporary appearance. This blending of timeless masonry and modern cladding creates a balance between functionality and visual appeal.
