We are delighted to share the completion of The Maltings, a 59-bed luxury care home in Sewerby, near Bridlington, built for Fisher Care Group. 

This was a project with a real back-story as the building had been partially constructed and left incomplete by a previous developer. Working from designs by S+SA Architects, our team delivered the full construction completion, bringing to life a refined internal layout tailored to residents’ needs as well as constructing a new entrance lobby, designed to create a warm and welcoming arrival experience.

The finished home provides 59 beds for residential, dementia, and respite care, with single rooms, double rooms, and suites all with en-suite facilities, air conditioning, and a luxury interior fit-out by Bernard Interiors.

Amenities include purpose-built dementia care environments, an orangery, bistro-style dining with bar, a cinema room, and a hair salon, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens.

It was a privilege to deliver a project that Fisher Care Group can be proud of as they mark their 40th year in business as well as to have played a part in bringing high-quality care provision to Bridlington.
