ROYAL WINDSOR CARE HOME, GRANTHAM
We have successfully completed a new 68 bedroom care home in Grantham on the Former Magistrate Court Site. The area of the site is largely built up with close proximity to residential properties, allotments and an Industrial Estate so traffic management was one of our key challenges.
The stone building is two storey but spans over a large area creating a large open external space to the rear. Internally there are lounges and dining rooms on each floor as well as a Hair Salon, Cinema and Café/Bar. A Balcony Area has also been created on the first floor which looks out onto the beautifully manicured gardens.
We also raised money on site to donate a number of Easter Eggs for the local Nursery/Pre School Children at Easter. This scheme was a 53 week project which was completed on time and within budget. We also received a Certificate of Excellence for this project from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
