Training Academy
Walter Thompson’s Training Academy invests in the long-term future of both the business and the wider construction industry. For more than 50 years, the company has provided opportunities for school leavers through apprenticeships and structured training, helping people gain the skills, experience and qualifications needed to build successful careers. Alongside traditional trade apprenticeships in areas such as bricklaying and joinery, the academy also works with local universities to offer degree apprenticeships in roles like quantity surveying, estimating and business administration.
For the business, the academy plays a vital role in developing talented individuals who understand the company’s values, standards and approach from the very beginning of their careers.
